ITR102-0010 | Interra 2-Channel KNX Universal Interface (Binary)
Configurable entirely via ETS5 or higher, this module’s two channels can be independently assigned to a wide array of sophisticated functions. These functions span from basic Switching and Dimming to complex controls like RGBW Color Control, Scene Recall, and Command Sequencing. Furthermore, the ITR102-0010 incorporates powerful Logic Functions (Internal/External Inputs, Threshold, Percentage) to enhance automation flexibility.
Due to its flexibility, each channel can be configured for a different function, or the two channels can be combined for functions requiring dual inputs, such as Shutter/Blinds with 2 buttons.
1. ITR102-0010 Interra Universal Interface: Versatile Input and Logic Functions
A highly adaptable module for converting conventional switches into KNX smart controls.
Configuration and Flexibility:
- Channel Count: 2 independent channels (Binary Inputs).
- Input Compatibility: Interfaces with standard contacts like switches and push buttons.
- Configuration Tool: Requires ETS5 or higher for full configuration.
- Dual Input Use: Supports functions using two inputs (e.g., Dimming or Shutter/Blinds with 2 buttons).
Available KNX Input Functions (Examples):
- Basic Control: Switch Sensor, Switch / Dimming Sensor, Shutter Sensor.
- Advanced Control: RGB Colour Control, RGBW Control, LED Control, Mode Selection.
- Scene & Sequence: Control Scene, Command Sequence.
Integrated Logic and Output Functions:
- Logic Capabilities: Includes configurable Internal Inputs (max. 4), External Inputs, Movement, and Brightness logic.
- Output Types: Supports diverse outputs (max. 4 selectable) including Switch, Dim, Shutter, Alarm, Percentage, Scene Number, and Threshold.
2. System Integration and Benefits
The ITR102-0010 is essential for retrofitting and simplifying wiring in KNX systems.
- Retrofit: Allows existing, non-KNX switches and sensors to be used within a modern KNX installation.
- Wiring Simplicity: Reduces the need for complex, proprietary input devices, integrating directly behind existing mechanisms.
